No need to dig for your phone to text. And you can finally stop emailing yourself photos. With the Your Phone app you get instant access to your Android phone's photos, texts and more on your computer.

By staying up to date, you’re assured of the latest features and protection – at no extra cost to you.


3. Sign in 3X Faster with Windows Hello Windows Hello logs you into your Windows devices in less than 2 seconds, 3x faster than a password. Use your camera to recognize your face or try your fingerprint reader4 – either way Windows Hello recognizes you instantly. You can always keep your PIN as a backup. Enabling Windows Hello turns on sign-in with your face or fingerprint. Login faster and more securely to your laptop, tablet, device, app, or even websites; you can even make in-app purchases.


4. Organize, edit and share your memories with Microsoft Photos

The new Photos app lets you explore your memories, offers magical tools for editing and helps you create new albums and videos to share.


5. Office 365 + a digital pen = Smart

Write out a headline, add bullet points, design your slides with a pen—then easily convert them into a polished PowerPoint presentation. Your digital pen makes it easy to edit a Word document with simple gestures. Strikethrough to delete, circle to select, and highlight to emphasize. (Available on PCs with Windows Ink)

8. Cortana AND Alexa are here to help

Getting a little help is nice. Options are nice too, and Windows gives you both. Cortana and Alexa can lend a helping hand, so you can free up yours. Take control with your voice. Ask Cortana to set a reminder. Ask Alexa to dim the lights. (Cortana and Alexa are NOT considered HIPAA-compliant. Use only on home PCs, not business PCs.)
