IT Medical Technologies was founded in 2001 by Charles Smith to produce an IT infrastructure that medical providers can count on.

We take the trust you put in us very seriously and pride ourselves on providing honest consulting and the kind of responsiveness that makes you feel as though you have your own IT team in-house.
Charles Smith, Owner
A Computer & Information Science graduate of Texas A&M University, Charles built this business based on positions in system's programming, analysis and project management for well-known companies including EDS, MCI, First American Title and Atmos. The hands-on knowledge gained in data management, security, telecommunications, video and internet integration is a large part of the expertise you get when you partner with IT Medical Technologies.
Charles was born and raised in South Texas and loves to be outdoors! He enjoys spending time with family, camping trips to the Davis Mountains, and any project involving a DeWalt power tool. He holds an advanced scuba diving certification and the beautiful Caribbean Ocean is a favorite destination.
Matthew Smith, IT Technician
Matthew is a natural in the trouble-shooting aspect of IT support. With experience in computers, printers, voice over IP phones, dental specific systems, network connectivity and an innovative, mindset he is an asset to the team. Our new construction and renovation projects are fine tuned thanks to his design assistance in technology wiring and cabling.
Matthew's passion is flying single and twin engine planes. His wife and growing little boy keep him grounded in a good way! Along with computer gaming and attending an occasional classical concert- life is busy!
Gladys Castro, IT Technician
Gladys has 10 years of experience in pediatric and orthodontic dental fields, with roles in medical billing, HR, HIPPA compliance, office management, and dental software IT support. In 2020 a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity was added to this extensive set of skills! A background working within the dental field has given her a unique and valuable perspective on our clients’ support issues and needs.
Family time is spent with her husband and two energetic dogs, Bruno and Wolfy. She also enjoys comic bookstores and conventions, along with experimenting in new plant-based meals on her recipe-testing husband!
