How to tell if your Gmail has been Hacked The personal Gmail accounts of an unspecified number of US senators and Senate staff have been targeted by foreign government hackers. However, you'd don't have to be a senator to have your Gmail hacked. Gmail has a long history of breaches. Here's how to find out whether you've been hacked.

  • Visit myactivity.google.com. This will show you all of your recent activity including Gmail, YouTube, Android App Installation, Google search, browser activities etc. You can even find there when and from where you Gmail id was last logged in.

If you find some activities there which you think were not performed by you.

  • Change your Gmail password by logging in to Sign in - Google Accounts on Chrome.

  • Search your email for the word "Password" to be sure you don't have any other passwords stored in your email.
